Emotionally, WEBMARTEERS can help make the world a better place. We have always donated a percentage of our profits to charity, but from 2007 onwards we will be donating through “The WEBMART® Charitable Trust”, an independant registered charity whose aim is to create maximise benefit from the WEBMART® SEXiLIFE Scheme (our profit-share scheme) charity pot brings to the community and the environment and in so doing will demonstrate to the world that WEBMART® is a great place to work for the right sort of person and each WEBMARTEER is actively encouraged to participate. Ultimately, the principle aim is to empower the least financially able in the world to start up their own carbon-neutral business by giving them a free version of our world-class software and support infrastructure, allowing them to create and share wealth where it is needed most in the world i.e. where they are.
The environment is vital to sustainable added value creation, so from 2008 onwards we will develop a WEBMART® Oxygen Farm (we will buy agricultural land and re-plant it with trees) which will offset our/our clients carbon-foot print whilst reforesting the British countryside with indigenous trees…and for each acre we enrich in the UK, we will buy an acre of rainforest in South America to protect this priceless resource. This will evolve into a WEBMART® Eco Park (all the WEBMART® oxygen farms together in the UK) and the WEBMART® Eco Reserve (in a more bio diverse part of the world) over the next 10 years.
In this way, (through something called the Virtuous Value Vortex - but that's another story!), we all benefit from each other and work together (our clients, suppliers and fellow WEBMARTEERS to mutual benefit)
