'PRINTELLIGENCE' TO BRING KNOWLEDGE TO INDUSTRY

« Back to news

A unique research consultancy specialising in the UK printed media marketplace has been launched last week. Evolving from a Knowledge Transfer Partnership between Oxford Brookes University and WEBMART and partially funded by the DTI, PRiNTELLIGENCE

Launched at the Intergraf's Annual Conference of Directors, PRiNTELLIGENCE was unveiled to the directors of the print industry associations of 13 attending European countries.

WEBMART provides PRiNTELLIGENCE with a database of 5.6 billion euros worth of print estimates. Managing director Simon Biltcliffe says: "PRiNTELLIGENCE provides a platform from which to plot historical pricing levels but also to continue mapping this information to enable those in the print marketplace - both buyers and suppliers - to have access to an up to date market position. For the first time, credible research will be available through cutting edge analysis."

Initially available as a research and consultancy service to suppliers in the print industry, PRiNTELLIGENCE can undertake market research, pricing benchmarking studies, marketing analysis as well as client specific bespoke research.

Research director Nicolas Virtsonis adds: "PRiNTELLIGENCE will become the first port of call for those wanting a greater and more informed understanding of the print marketplace. We are very excited with what we will be able to do with this information."
