WEBMART has always been serious about taking care of the environment and we are delighted to announce that we are now fully FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) certified. This allows our customers to purchase print through WEBMART from suppliers who use paper derived from responsibly managed forests.
WEBMART has also now achieved the ISO14001 environmental accreditation, which recognises our environmental management system.
WEBMART takes the impact of our activity on the environment very seriously and has an active policy of reducing the carbon footprint of our commercial activity.
The Carbon Footprint for WEBMART was 142 tonnes in 2007/8.This was offset through the World Land Trust Carbon Balanced Fund and is invested in land purchase and restoration of threatened tropical forests
