WEBMART's largest site, located in Bicester, has just had a 'yellow' make-over. Now clad in Aztec Yellow with new back-lit signage it’s going to be hard to miss!
Internally, too, there are lots of changes. Recognising the ongoing commitment of their staff, WEBMART have created a gym and shower room and will provide ongoing personal training advice for employees: no more long treks to an outside gym. A 'Chillout' room has also been created to allow staff to relax in comfort and they will soon be able to have their free sandwiches in the new Palm Court room. This may once have been part of a loading bay but has now been transformed into a comfortable eating area complete with exotic plants!
WEBMART have always been serious about taking care of the environment and have FSC and PEFC accreditation for print production and ISO 14001 for environmental management. The building works are fully in line with this environmental strategy and will incorporate amongst other things low energy spotlights, movement-activated switches and new yellow double-glazed windows.
WEBMART is a carbon neutral company and already uses GOOD ENERGY - the UK's only 100 per cent renewable energy provider. The story continues… they are now looking into the potential of a wind-turbine and photovoltaic cells to generate their own electricity. Watch this space!
