Simon Cooper, production controller at WEBMART, has been awarded a BPIF Educational Scholarship.

Simon Cooper, production controller at WEBMART, has been awarded a BPIF Educational Scholarship. The £2500 bursary will enable Simon to complete his third year of a BA course in Print Management at the London College of Communications.

On receiving the cheque at the Presentation Ceremony, Simon said: "I am very pleased to have this financial support, which will make a considerable contribution towards my ongoing training."

Simon attends the London College of Communications on a day release basis, with the full support of his company. WEBMART managing director Simon Biltcliffe says: "Training for our employees is very much part of our culture and we will continue to support Simon as he completes his course. We are very proud that he was chosen to receive the BPIF Scholarship and we offer him our best wishes with his studies."

The scholarships are sponsored by the BPIF, the Printers' Charitable Corporation and Unite. Now in their fourth year, the scholarships seek to help young people pay for education and training in pursuit of a career in the UK printing and graphic arts industries.
