Digital Printing

Digital printing is a very similar process to your typical desktop printer. Indeed some digital presses look just like a desktop ink jet printer except that industrial digital presses will fill a small room! The most popular types use either toner or ink jet technology.

Because there isn't any plate preparation required before printing, digital presses are particularly suitable for small runs. The entire process up to the actual printing of the project is digital and all artwork manipulation is carried out on digital files on the computer rather than on the plate.

Digital presses are particularly suitable for smaller runs of business cards, brochures and leaflets. Large format digital presses are great for producing bespoke large artwork such as posters or exhibition materials.
