Overview

Stinkyink, the UK’s top-rated ink specialist on Trustpilot, knew their digital channels were working but had a hunch they could be doing more. Enter Webmart.

After a detailed audit of their SEO, PPC, website UX, and email marketing, we identified foundational issues holding their ecommerce performance back. From outdated web pages to mismanaged PPC campaigns and an underperforming email database, there was plenty of room for improvement.

Our plan? A full digital tune-up. From website rebuilds and technical SEO fixes to refined PPC strategies and database optimisation, we left no stone unturned. And while the project is ongoing, the results so far have been fantastic.

The Challenge

Stinkyink had built a strong reputation and effective digital presence but needed help identifying areas for growth. They wanted to:

  • Improve website UX and resolve technical SEO issues that were affecting rankings and conversions.
  • Fix underperforming PPC campaigns, which were overly reliant on branded keywords and automation.
  • Optimise their email campaigns, hindered by a cluttered database and lack of split-testing.

In short, they needed a strategy that would tighten up the foundations while exploring untapped opportunities across their ecommerce marketing.

The Solution

We took a holistic approach, addressing each channel to deliver long-term, scalable results.

1. Website Rebuild & SEO Improvements

  • Resolved technical SEO issues like outdated pages and poor product taxonomy.
  • Streamlined back-end processes for adding and removing products.
  • Planned a website rebuild to refresh UX, simplify navigation, and optimise checkout.
  • Focused on improving product, category, and branded pages for better search visibility.

2. PPC Campaign Overhaul

  • Rebuilt campaigns from the ground up with fresh branding and tone of voice.
  • Shifted focus to non-branded search terms to expand reach.
  • Thorough testing ensured campaigns were finely tuned for performance.

3. Email Marketing Optimisation

  • Cleansed the email database to target active and engaged users.
  • Introduced a split-testing process to refine messaging and content strategies.

The Results

By prioritising quick wins and tackling foundational issues, Stinkyink has already started seeing significant improvements.
