Webmart Sponsor Plunkett’s Community Business Conference 2024

Attendees at the Plunkett annual conference, sponsored by Webmart, smile as they network at the London event.

Held on Wednesday 23rd October, and with Webmart as the lead sponsor, the Plunkett National Community Business Conference 2024 delighted attendees at the vibrant Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre on London’s South Bank. As the UK’s only in-person event dedicated to community businesses, the conference proved to be an inspiring day packed with insights, advice, and connection.

Highlights from the Conference

The event lived up to its promise, delivering exceptional value to attendees through:

Marketplace Networking: Attendees had the opportunity to connect with suppliers, share ideas, and build valuable partnerships. Not only were there some great giveaways on offer, but this breakout space ensured everyone could reset ahead of each session and make new valuable connections.

Expert Talks: Inspiring keynote speakers shared their expertise on running successful community businesses and tackling challenges. These sessions were packed, highlighting how engaged the attendees were with learning more about nurturing their community businesses.

Workshops: Specialist advisers hosted interactive sessions packed with practical advice to support growth and sustainability. One session included our very own Digital Strategist, Charlotte Jenkins, who offered tips and tricks on how community businesses can leverage social media.

Why Webmart Got Involved

As a sustainable marketing agency, we believe in the power of businesses to create lasting, positive change—not just for their bottom line but for their communities and the planet. By supporting this conference, we were able to champion the incredible work of community businesses and highlight how innovative, responsible marketing can amplify their impact.
