Webmart Shares Gender Pay Gap Report for 2026

Webmart's 2026 Gender Pay Gap Report lays on a table background

We believe transparency matters. Not just when the numbers make comfortable reading, but when they show us where there’s more work to do.

That’s why we’ve published our latest Gender Pay Gap Report.

We’re below the employee threshold that legally requires businesses to report their gender pay gap, so we’re doing this voluntarily. Because for us, Do Good, Be Good means holding ourselves accountable, digging into the data and being open about what we find.

So, what does this year’s data tell us?

There are some positive signs. Out mean hourly gender pay gap is 0.6%, while our median gap stands at 6.6% – meaning women earn 93p for every £1 earned by men when comparing median hourly pay.

We also continue to see strong female representation at the top of the pay scale, with women making up 56% of our highest-paid quartile.

But the picture isn’t completely even – and that’s exactly why looking beyond one headline number matters. Female representation drops to 30% in our upper-middle pay quartile and 20% in our lower-middle quartile, showing there’s still work to do around representation across different roles and levels of the business.

And then there’s bonuses

This remains the area where the data gives us the most to think about. 88.9% of women and 95.5% of men received bonus pay, while our median gender bonus gap is 46.21% and our mean bonus gap is 47.32%.

Those figures deserve attention, not spin.

The good news is that both bonus gaps have reduced compared with our previous report, when the mean stood at 56.92% and the median at 58.02%. But there’s clearly more for us to understand and improve.

And that’s really the point of publishing this data. A gender pay gap report isn’t a box-ticking exercise or a chance to cherry-pick a nice statistic. It gives us another way to understand our business, challenge ourselves and make better decisions about how we create fair opportunities for every Webmarteer.
